Senior Residence in León, Spain

We were commissioned to design the interiors of a new senior residence in León, a 7,000 m² project currently under construction. The guiding concept was to avoid the scale of an institution by creating smaller living units, each designed for around 16 residents.

Each unit includes its own dining room, bedrooms, living area, and terraces, fostering belonging and community. The interior design features warm materials, natural textures, and carefully planned indirect lighting to create a sense of peace and calm. Every constructive detail has been considered to enhance comfort and the feeling of home.

On the ground floor, shared spaces such as a chapel, lounges, and a cafeteria connect with over 800 m² of therapeutic outdoor areas. Interiors were conceived as multifunctional spaces that encourage interaction between residents and their families, blending interior and exterior to create a humane, welcoming environment. Completion is scheduled for December 2025.
